Description
A slim, cig-lighter style TPMS for 4WD, passenger vehicles, some motorhomes, and mini buses
The Steelmate TP-75 is a DIY TPMS that allows the driver to monitor 4 tyres in real time using an easy-to-see LCD display. It also comes with a USB slot which allows drivers to charge their phones or use other electronics.
The system can monitor tyre pressure from as low as 10 psi, which is perfect for 4WDers, and up to 75 psi, which is also appealing to some drivers of maxi taxis, cars, motorhomes and mini buses etc.
The system monitors both pressure and temperature, and will alert the driver of leaks, punctures or over-heating (over 80 °C/176°F) and low battery etc.
In addition, the alarm threshold of pressure ( Mid-value) can be set and adjusted by the driver ( adjustable mid-value range is 18~66Psi), and the monitoring range will become minus and plus 8psi of the mid-value.
Example 1: If the driver set the mid-value at 18 psi, his monitoring range will be 10~26PSI; if he sets the pressure at 66psi, his monitoring range will be 58~74psi.
Example 2: If the car is driving on bitumen road with front wheels running at 35 psi and back wheel running at 45psi, the mid-value=35+45/2=40psi, and its monitoring range will be 32~48psi.
Installation is a breeze – Simply plug the LCD display into the vehicle Cig-lighter socket. Screw the pressure sensors onto the valves and replacing the valve caps. The sensors are pre-configured and labeled, and you are ready to go.

I have the TP-75. It is no longer displaying a reading for the Front Right tyre. I reset the display and have taken all the sensors off. When I first put it on the display registers it and the pressure, however once all sensors have been set it stops displaying the front right. Can you assist?
Hi Richard, When did you purchase the product? 1. It may be that the sensor battery is depleted. Have you tried changing the battery? 2. There is no reset function for TP-75 but there is a sensor reprogramming function. Is that what you mean? Once all sensors have been set please check that you have saved the settings by holding down the SET button until you hear the beeps. THEN, please go for a drive. Please provide purchase proof to sales@steelmate.com.au for further customer service. Best regards, Steelmate Team
Is the temperature setting adjustable? if not what a the predetermined settings?
Temperature setting is not adjustable. The high temperature alarm default is 80 degrees celsius.
Can you independently set the alarm pressures or are they preset in the unit?
Yes! Although there are factory presets, you can adjust the alarm pressures by setting the mid-value anywhere between 18-66 PSI. The high pressure and low pressure alarm values will be ± 8 PSI of the mid-value.
Could you tell me if the external sensors water & dust proof? regards Kelvin
Hi Kevin, yes, the external sensors are IP67. They are protected from total dust ingress, and water immersion between 15 centimeters and 1 meter in depth.
Hi – can you add extra sensors (for a caravan) to this system?
Hi, TP-75 is for four wheels. However, we have a new model TP-V2, it has six sensors. Please send your details to steelmate.au@bigpond.com, when our new product is released we can let you know.
